EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          ESPN promoted LEE ANN DALY to Senior VP/Marketing,
     where she will oversee ESPN Enterprises and the company's
     brand extension projects.  Daly was VP/Advertising and
     Program Marketing (ESPN)....DAN METZGER was named President
     of the Thoroughbred Owners & Breeders Association.  Metzger
     is currently Dir of Marketing Services and Licensing with
     Breeders' Cup Limited (TOBA)....The Saints are expected to
     announce today the hiring of CHARLES BAILEY as Assistant GM
     & VP/Football Operations.  Bailey was with the Steelers
     (TIMES-PICAYUNE, 5/18)....LARRY KEATING was named IBL
     Shooting Stars President & GM.  Keating was previously Dir
     of Athletics & Recreation at Seton Hall Univ.
     (IBL)....CARTER TOOLE was named Communications Coordinator
     for the Bucs.  He previously was Assistant Dir PR for the
     Titans.  The Titans hired JIMMY STANTON to replace Toole. 
     Stanton was Media Relations Assistant for the American
     Coaches Football Association (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 5/16).
