EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Nike's VP/Global Brand Management ANDY MOONEY will
     become VP/Global Apparel, effective May 31.  Mooney will
     replace MATT WOLFF, who is retiring.  Also, Nike's VP/Design
     and Creative Dir GORDON THOMPSON will become VP/Design and
     Creative Dir for Nike subsidiary, Cole Haan.  The company
     will search for Thompson's replacement (Nike).
          DERON FILIP was named the CBA Dir of Media Relations. 
     Filip previously was the SID at Grand Canyon (AZ.) Univ.
     (CBA)....DAVID BERSON was promoted from Manager to Dir of
     Operations & Distribution Development at ESPN (ESPN)....DOUG
     ARNOT was named the SLOC's Managing Dir of Event Operations
     for the 2002 Games.  Arnot was Managing Dir of Venue
     Operations and Planning for ACOG (SALT LAKE TRIBUNE, 5/15).
     ...MLBPA Dir of Trading Card Licensing SCOTT BARRET has left
     to become VP/Strategic Marketing for Starwood Hotels (SPORTS
     COLLECTORS DIGEST, 5/17)....Former Toys "R" Us VP/Int'l
     Marketing & Advertising JEFFREY HANDLER was named The Sports
     Authority Senior VP/Marketing & Advertising (TSA).
