EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          BSkyB is expected to announce today that TONY BALL will
     become its CEO, replacing MARK BOOTH.  Ball is President &
     CEO of Fox/Liberty Networks (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 5/14).
     ...The CBA named PHIL EVANS Deputy Commissioner.  Evans was
     previously the CBA's VP and General Counsel (CBA)....ABC
     Sports' BOB GOODRICH was named Coordinating Producer of
     ABC's college football coverage.  The assignment is the
     first under Senior VP/Production JOHN FILIPPELLI, who joined
     ABC Sports after several years at Fox Sports (HOLLYWOOD
     REPORTER, 5/14)....The Harlem Globetrotters named BERNIE
     BICKERSTAFF Exec of Basketball (Harlem Globetrotters).
     ...STANLEY KONESKY JR. was named President of the Walter
     Camp Football Foundation (SportsTicker, 5/13)....A source
     confirmed that MARTIN LIEBERMAN would be dismissed as N.Y.
     Racing Association's VP/General Counsel.  Lieberman, 58, has
     been with NYRA since '78 (DAILY RACING FORM, 5/13).
