          MLBPA named EDWARD LYNCH to the newly-created position
     of Dir of Sponsorship & Promotions.  Lynch was previously
     MLS Dir of Business Development (MLBPA)....NJ-based PVI
     named CARLO BASILE to the newly-created position of Chief
     Technology Officer.  Basile was previously Philips Digital
     Video Group VP & Chief Technology Officer (PVI)....ESPN
     Magazine named J.B. MORRIS as its General Editor of college
     football.  Morris comes from SI (ESPN Magazine)....Universal
     Sports America (USA) named TIM CLINE to the newly-created
     position of USA Collegiate Group President.  Cline has been
     with USA since '89 (USA)....MIKE CUNNINGHAM was named Exec
     Producer of sports at KCBS in L.A.  Cunningham had been with
     KNBC-L.A. for the past 16 years (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 5/11).
