          In N.Y., Rush & Malloy report that Democratic
     presidential candidate BILL BRADLEY is "getting assists"
     from MICHAEL JORDAN and PHIL JACKSON, each of whom donated
     $1,000 to his campaign (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 4/30)....Jazz G
     JOHN STOCKTON will be a part-owner of the WISL Utah Freezz,
     which begins play in July (DESERET NEWS, 4/29)....Yankees SS
     DEREK JETER, Fox NFL Analyst HOWIE LONG and tennis player
     CARLOS MOYA are included in PEOPLE's "The 50 Most Beautiful
     People In The World" special issue (People)....The Goodwill
     Games President MICHAEL PLANT indicated that Calgary is the
     group's "first choice" to host the 2005 winter Goodwill
     Games.  Plant: "To be honest, we're not talking to any other
     cities" (CALGARY SUN, 4/30)....In L.A., Hofmeister & Eller
     reported that sources said Cablevision Chair CHARLES DOLAN
     "offered recently to buy NBC" for $10B, and has "talked with
     Sony about merging" (L.A. TIMES, 4/29)....Mystics G NIKKI
     MCCRAY is profiled in WASHINGTONIAN, as Harry Jaffe reports
     that McCray earns "about" $50,000 annually from the Mystics,
     and has a personal services deal with the WNBA "in the
     neighborhood" of $200,000 per year.  McCray also has a four-
     year, $1M contract with Fila.  Jaffe writes that the Mystics
     "are creating a Nikki cult with posters and bookmarks and
     signature cards and a video" (WASHINGTONIAN, 5/99 issue).
