HE SAID WHAT? GREG ANTHONY AND LARRY MILLER TRADE BARBS

          Blazers G Greg Anthony said Jazz Owner Larry Miller
     "used some profanity toward me" in their game Friday night,
     according to Steve Brandon of the Portland OREGONIAN. 
     Anthony: "I can't repeat the words, but I'm going to report
     him to the league, because I was told we are not allowed to
     talk that way out there. ... I'm going to talk to my
     attorney, too.  I'm going to demand a public apology." 
     Miller said he yelled at Anthony after a "hard foul" by
     Anthony on Jazz G John Stockton and called him a "cheap-shot
     artist."  Miller: "I understand hard play, but it looked
     like all he (Anthony) was assigned to do was take Stockton
     out" (Portland OREGONIAN, 4/25).  Anthony, to NBC's Jim
     Gray: "I was appalled and shocked that an owner of an NBA
     franchise would come out and use such derogatory language
     during the course of the game."  Miller: "If these guys
     aren't any thicker-skinned than this, they don't belong in
     the league" ("NBA on NBC," NBC, 4/25).
