PITTSBURGH SPEEDWAY TO OFFER NAMING RIGHTS AND PSLS

WV-based Brant Motorsports is looking at the sale of
naming rights, PSLs, luxury boxes and sponsorships to help
raise funds to build an indoor racing complex near
Pittsburgh Int'l Airport, which could hold up to 120,000
fans and be the world's largest enclosed speedway, according
to Mark Belko of the PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE. Allegheny
County, which owns the 145 acres in Findlay where the $300-
350M track would be placed, could provide funds or tax
increment financing. Brant Motorsports VP Bob Brant, on
securing private investors for the speedway: "We've had a
positive response, a very positive response." Brant hopes
to open the track in 2002 (POST-GAZETTE, 4/21).
