MONDAY, MONDAY, CAN'T TRUST THAT DAY: "MNF" START MOVED?

          Kickoff time for ABC's "MNF" will "likely" be pushed
     back later in prime time, according to Barry Jackson of the
     MIAMI HERALD.  ABC moved up the kickoff last year to 8:20pm
     ET "in an attempt to boost ratings in the East," but saw the
     package's average national Nielsen rating drop from 15.0 to
     an "all-time-low" of 13.9.  NFL Senior VP/Broadcasting
     Dennis Lewin: "We haven't finalized the time, but I do not
     think it will stay at 8:20.  It could be 8:30 or move back
     to 9."  Jackson adds that ABC is also "deciding whether to
     retain" an "MNF" pregame show.   The NFL's schedule will be
     released shortly, and Jackson notes that additional
     scheduling changes has the league "leaning toward" playing a
     game on Christmas Eve (a Friday) and one on Christmas Day
