          BOB COSTAS appeared on the "Tonight Show" with JAY
     LENO.  Costas, on his appearance in last year's box office
     flop "BASEketball": "Hindsight being 20/20, I probably
     should have taken the part in 'Shakespeare in Love'
     instead."  On being run-over by DENNIS RODMAN on the
     sidelines during a game last year: "When you body up with
     Dennis Rodman, you've had indirect contact with about 1/5 of
     the world's population.  On the health-risk scale, a sweaty
     Rodman in your lap is pretty much the equivalent of licking
     Madison Avenue.  Doesn't get much worse" (NBC, 3/26).
     ...Former MLB Deputy Commissioner STEVE GREENBERG is "in
     talks" with agent ARN TELLEM and investment banking firm
     ALLEN & CO. about "creating a sports and entertainment
     conglomerate" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 3/29 issue)....Former
     Nets coach JOHN CALIPARI is one of the nominees for GQ's
     "Men of the Year" in its April issue (N.Y. POST, 3/28).
     ...China Premier ZHU RONGJI has requested a meeting with
     Broncos QB JOHN ELWAY during his visit to Denver (DENVER
     POST, 3/27)....EVANDER HOLYFIELD filed for divorce from his
     wife JANICE on Friday.  Janice oversaw some of Evander's
     business dealings, including Holyfield Management and the
     Holyfield Foundation (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 3/27).
