MOTOROLA INKS CART EXTENSION; QUOKKA NEW CART WEB PARTNER

          Motorola has signed a three-year deal to become CART's
     "Official Communications Hardware" and will provide wireless
     communications to the series.  Motorola has been the
     official two-way radio supplier of CART for the past nine
     years and sponsors the PacWest Racing Group's Mark Blundell-
     driven car and title sponsors a CART event in St. Louis. 
     Motorola now becomes CART's "official wireless phone" and
     its "official pager" (Motorola).
          MORE CONTENT FOR QUOKKA: CART and S.F.-based Quokka
     Sports have entered into a five-year partnership to provide
     digital interactive, year-round coverage of the CART series. 
     Under the deal, new features will be added to CART.com,
     including Quokka's "Race Viewer," which enables visitors to
     follow any driver throughout a race, with lap-time stats. 
     Track sounds and driver-pit crew communications will also be
     featured on the "Race Viewer" (Quokka Sports).
