FOR FLUFF, THE FIRST DAYS ARE THE HARDEST DAYS W/OUT TIGER

Commercials for the World Golf Village in St.
Augustine, FL, featuring Tiger Woods' former caddie Fluff
Cowan were "yanked" from Sunday's broadcast of the Bay Hill
Invitational, but "will be shown in the future," according
to Earl Daniels of the FLORIDA TIMES-UNION. World Golf
Village VP/Marketing Michael McPhillips said the split
between Woods and Cowan was the reason for the change: "This
will be the first time that they won't be together, and in
deference to both parties, we thought that it would be best
not to air it." The commercial began airing in February and
will air -- both locally and nationally -- during the year
on other PGA Tour events. McPhillips said that World Golf
Village officials "were aware of a potential split of Woods
and Cowan and adjusted their production plans for the
commercial in the event of an eventual split." There were
two versions of the spot filmed, one "that included a
reference to Woods and one without Woods." The spot without
the Woods reference is the one used (TIMES-UNION, 3/21).
