          In S.F., Matier & Ross report that 49ers co-Owner
     Denise DeBartolo York and her husband, John, have no idea
     what the stadium or stadium/mall complex will look like,
     what it will cost or when and how it will be built and the
     project is "back to square one" (S.F. CHRONICLE, 3/19).
     ...Twins Owner Carl Pohlad, on the team's chances of getting
     a new ballpark: "It's a dead issue" (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS,
     3/19)....The Stadium Board overseeing construction of Miller
     Park approved a price guarantee yesterday and said it will
     pay "no more" than $312M to contractor HCH Joint Venture
     (JOURNAL SENTINEL, 3/19)....Mariners fans bought all 12,500
     personalized bricks, representing about $1M in sales, "to be
     installed in a special walkway" at Safeco Field.  The funds
     go toward stadium construction (SEATTLE P-I, 3/18).
