          In Atlanta, Len Pasquarelli wrote that Cowboys Owner
     Jerry Jones is "seeking allies" in his quest to "dissolve"
     NFL Properties (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 3/14)....In Nashville,
     Jeff Legwold wrote that Titans Owner Bud Adams now holds
     weekly meetings with "every significant" exec with the team,
     marking the "first time Adams has had such meetings on a
     regular basis since the team left Houston."  Adams: "We're
     trying to do everything we can.  We want to win people over"
     (TENNESSEAN, 3/14)....In Dallas, Bart Hubbuch wrote that
     Percy "Master P" Miller is "hoping for another tryout" with
     the Hornets "now that Glen Rice has been traded and Dave
     Cowens has resigned."  The Hornets "say they're not
     interested" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 3/14)....In San Jose,
     Almond & Farmer wrote that the "lease rift" between the
     Raiders and Oakland and Alameda County officials "rages on." 
     Oakland City Council member Ignacio De La Fuente, who wants
     to make the Raiders pay for "what they are doing": "In the
     past year, we were trying to be reasonable.  I have thrown
     that out the window.  I don't see any chance of settlement in
     the next few weeks or months" (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 3/14).
