EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          English Premier League Chair SIR JOHN QUINTON and CEO
     PETER LEAVER resigned "after failing to convince the 20
     Premiership clubs ... that they had the authority" to hire
     BSkyB execs SAM CHISHOLM and DAVID CHANCE as Media Advisers.
     The two were hired to work on a new TV deal, but were named
     "without the knowledge of the clubs, angering several of the
     Premiership chairmen" (FINANCIAL TIMES, 3/12).
     ...SporTVision will create a new media division to develop
     Internet products and features, video sports games and an
     interactive Web site.  RUSSELL QUY will head the new
     division as Exec Dir of New Media Development (SporTVision).
     ...DANIELLE MAGED was named MSG VP/Marketing, and will lead
     marketing and branding initiatives for MSG's assets.  She
     will oversee MSG's Web site and new media development (MSG).
