EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Raycom Sports President RAY WARREN and Exec VP KEN
     HAINES have both signed multi-year contract extensions and
     added the titles of CEO and COO, respectively (Raycom).
     ...HOLLY STONER has been promoted to Lowe's Motor Speedway
     Senior Manager of PR.  Stoner has been with the speedway
     since March '96 as publicity supervisor.  Also, SCOTT COOPER
     has been hired as Senior Manager of Promotions and Media
     Relations (Lowe's Motor Speedway)....The Sports Authority
     promoted KELLY CONWAY to the new post of Senior VP/Sales &
     Service.  Conway has been with the company since its
     inception and is currently VP/Ops (TSA).....Former QB JOE
     MONTANA has joined CA-based data communication products
     manufacturer Viking Components' New Business Development
     Department.  He will work with Viking Dir of New Business
     Development & MLB HOFer REGGIE JACKSON in expanding company
     partnerships (Viking)....Adelphia Communications named JOHN
     CIMPERMAN as Regional VP/Sales & Marketing for the Great
     Lakes Region & Sabres Exec VP/Integrated Marketing (Sabres).
