EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          NIKE CHANGES IN COMMUNICATIONS: Nike named NIGEL POWELL
     as its European Dir of Corporate Communications.  Powell,
     who will be based in Hilversum, The Netherlands, most
     recently managed the Nike Europe account as Dir of PR at
     Edelman PR's Brussels office.  Powell succeeds KEITH PETERS,
     who will return to Beaverton as Dir of Communications for
     the company's year-old Corporate Responsibility department. 
     In addition, VADA MANAGER was promoted to Dir of Global
     Issues Management from Senior Communications Manager.  All
     three appointments are effective immediately (Nike).
          MORE MOVES: The NTRA named KEITH CHAMBLIN as
     VP/Marketing, effective April 1.  Chamblin is currently
     Hollywood Park VP/Marketing & PR (NTRA)....FIFA '99 Womens'
     World Cup has named PETER BRIDGEWATER as NY/NJ VP & Venue
     Dir and MARK FICKLIN as S.F./San Jose Venue Dir (WWC).
     ....RON BERTOVICH has been promoted to Empire Sports Network
     Exec VP and BOB KOSHINSKI was named VP/GM (ESN)....The Wild
     named TIM WEGSCHEID as Dir of Suite Sales for the new arena. 
     The team also named GREG HOYT as Suite Sales Manager (Wild).
