          ESPN has ranked O.J. Simpson as 49th on its list of the
     50 greatest North American athletes of the 20th century. 
     ESPN will feature Simpson during Friday's "SportsCentury"
     program (BOSTON GLOBE, 1/26)....Fox Sports President David
     Hill, when asked what he learned from Fox's previous Super
     Bowl telecast: "I learned that Tums can be a source of
     nutrition" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 1/26)....NEWSDAY's Steve Zipay
     writes that CBS's telecast of Sunday's Duke-St. John's
     overtime game received a 3.5 overnight Nielsen rating,
     making it the network's highest-rated college basketball
     telecast of the season (NEWSDAY, 1/26).
