A NEW DEAL IS BREWED FOR WORLD CUP; A-B RE-UPS SPONSORSHIP

A-B, which has sponsored every World Cup since '86, has
renewed its partnership with FIFA, making Budweiser the
official beer sponsor of the 2002 and 2006 events. The deal
marks the first time the A-B brand has inked multi-
tournament deals, and is the largest sponsorship package in
Budweiser's history. Budweiser receives global category
rights to World Cup marks, logos and designations, two on-
field billboards for each World Cup game and promotional and
marketing rights to other FIFA events (A-B).
