          In St. Paul, Charley Walters wrote, "Look for Vikings
     [WR] Randy Moss to be showcased by Nike ... in an
     endorsement deal after the season" (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS,
     12/13)....The campaign for "Flutie's Favorite Sub," a
     turkey, lettuce, tomato and cheese sandwich, launched this
     weekend as part of Bills QB Doug Flutie's deal with NY-based
     grocery chain Wegmans.  Flutie, in one of the ads: "Yes, I
     too was once a sub.  And to all the other Wegmans' subs, I
     say, 'Hang in there."  In Toronto, Mike Zeisberger: "The
     fact that both a breakfast cereal and a sandwich have been
     named after him is an indication of just how marketable Doug
     Flutie has become" (TORONTO SUN, 12/13)....In Orlando, Larry
     Guest wrote that the advising team of Univ. of Central FL QB
     Daunte Culpepper will include NFL "vet" Doug Wilkerson,
     former Olympic track coach Brooks Johnson, N.Y.-based PR
     firm Chisolm-Mingo Group and "a working relationship with"
     Disney Wide World of Sports.  Culpepper's recently named DC-
     based agent Mason Ashe, on the player's potential
     endorsement deals: "We've already had some feelers from
     companies. ... I would like to take it slow and let him form
     a solid relationship with just a very few companies"
     (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 12/13)....Heisman Trophy winner Ricky
     Williams wore an adidas shirt while he was interviewed by
     CBS's Jim Nantz on "The NFL Today" yesterday (THE DAILY).
