NORTHERN EXPOSURE: SABRES ANNOUNCE RESTRUCTURING MOVES

          The Sabres named RON BERTOVICH to Exec VP/
     Administration, after serving on an interim basis since
     April.  In other moves, Dir of Finance ED HARTMAN was
     promoted to Exec/VP Finance & Business; KERRY ATKINSON, who
     was Assistant to the President of Empire Sports Network, was
     named Senior VP/Corporate Sales, and will oversee ticket
     sales and operations, Empire Sports sales, suite sales and
     merchandise sales; VP/Marketing CHRISTYE PETERSON was
     promoted to Senior VP/Marketing; Dir of Communications
     MICHAEL GILBERT was promoted to VP/Communications; Dir of
     Facilities Management STAN MAKOWSKI was promoted to Senior
     Dir of Facilities Management; and CHRIS SCHOEPFLIN, who
     currently oversees Arena athletics and special events, was
     named Senior Dir of Sports & Arena Planning (Sabres).
