him from a burning building, "top-notch." ADWEEK calls the
new FoxSports.com ad titled "Old Man," in which "Nick
Felder" ignores a "98-year-old man" who drops his pills
because Nick "spends all day on" the FoxSports.com,
"Vicious. Sick. Twisted. Perverse. Demented. A Best
Spot." ADWEEK calls Broncos RB Terrell Davis, who appears
in Campbell's Chunky Soup ad with QB John Elway, "not only a
natural on the gridiron but also one in front of the camera"
(ADWEEK, 11/16 issue)....CA-based PowerBar is expected to
name OR-based Wieden & Kennedy to handle its $10-12M ad
account. PowerBar split with S.F.-based Citron Haligman
Bedecarre earlier this year (AD AGE, 11/19).

earnings" with profits falling 38%, "has not yet informed"
Mattei Motorsports and driver Michael Waltrip "whether or
not it will return as the" Winston Cup team's primary
sponsor next season. Team Owner Jim Mattei said he hoped to
have an answer by today (WINSTON CUP SCENE, 11/19)....In
Jacksonville, Modis Professional Services "is rushing its
name" to the top of its downtown building, which was
formerly called the AccuStaff building. Officials want the
word "modis" up in lights before the December 28 "MNF"
Steelers-Jaguars game. Earlier this year, AccuStaff changed
the company name, and officials said they "plan to send a
news release to ABC Sports" (FL TIMES-UNION, 11/19)....NC-
based Devant, a manufacturer of golf towels, has become an
LPGA licensee (LPGA)....In its Readers' Choice Awards,
FITNESS magazine asked, "Which brands do you like to sport
when you're working up a sweat?": Nike (24%), Champion
(11%), adidas (10%) and Reebok (5%) (FITNESS, 11/98 issue).
