pay more than" $52.5M in damages "stemming from discharges
of textile waste" into an AL lake. AL-based Russell, which
is "liable for" 50% of the punitive award, said it would

sponsor and NASCAR's $100,000 race purse hike have "not
jeopardized" the Speedway's Busch Series future. Neither
Opryland, a four-year primary sponsor, nor BellSouth
Mobility will be back as sponsors of the BellSouth/Opryland
320 next year. Harmon said that the race purse will now be
"more than" $600,000 and that he "hopes to announce" a new

Home Depot finalized its three-year deal to become the
official home improvement warehouse of NASCAR and also
"signed a multiyear agreement" to sponsor the Joe Gibbs

the World Golf Foundation's First Tee program, committing to
provide service and products to the first 100 First Tee
Chapters (The First Tee)....The Marquee Group's Marquee
Alphabet City (MAC) has purchased the entire audio catalogue
of Fleetwood Studios Sports Records. The acquisition gives
MAC radio and TV play-by-play sounds of more than 100 major
sports teams from '59-82. MAC produces sports CDs comprised
of popular music and great sports moments (TMG).
