BILLS, TICKET VENDOR ACCUSE EACH OTHER OF BREACH OF CONTRACT

The Bills and ETM Entertainment Network (ETM), the
company that sells individual Bills tickets, have "accused
each other of breaching" a three-year contract they signed
in May, according to Dan Herbeck of the BUFFALO NEWS. ETM
is accusing the team of contract violations and is
"threatening to shut down its service." The Bills have
filed a lawsuit in federal court ordering ETM "to continue
its service through the end of the current season." ETM
told the Bills last week that "it was fed up with the team"
and planned to stop selling tickets. ETM attorney Steven
Holland accused the team of not doing enough advertising for
individual tickets and said it was "uncooperative in helping
ETM set up an evening phone sales operation." Bills Dir of
Ticket Sales James Foran said in court papers that an ETM
shutdown would "wreak total havoc on the Bills ticketing
operation." The dispute will go to arbitration, but no
hearing has been scheduled (BUFFALO NEWS, 11/18).
