     Championship and the '68 Jets to a Super Bowl III win, died
     yesterday at the age of 91 (N.Y. TIMES, 11/18)....Despite
     the claims of agent DWIGHT MANLEY, DENNIS RODMAN released a
     statement which "confirmed his marriage" to actress CARMEN
     ELECTRA (USA TODAY, 11/18)....Lions Vice Chair BILL FORD is
     featured on the cover of NEWSWEEK under the header "In
     Search Of The Super Car: Does Bill Ford Have A Better Idea?"
     (NEWSWEEK, 11/23 issue)....FRANK STRONACH will pay $126M to
     buy the Santa Anita (CA) Racetrack from Meditrust. 
     Stronach, who heads Magna Int'l, an autoparts manufacturing
     company, said he expects the closing to be completed on
     December 15 (L.A. TIMES, 11/17). ...Country singer MINDY
     MCCREADY brought Predators D DRAKE BEREHOWSKY to Dreamworks'
     screening of "The Prince of Egypt" on Monday (USA TODAY,
     11/18)....Suns Exec VP & GM BRYAN COLANGELO, 36, is featured
     in THE BUSINESS JOURNAL of Phoenix's "Most Influential"
     issue in the "Under 40" category.  Writer Stephanie Balzer:
     "In the microcosmic world of Phoenix, the Colangelo name is
     famous and Bryan has grown up under its legacy.  He seems
