          In USA TODAY's "In Focus," Michael Hiestand examines
     sponsorship exposure evaluations and writes that MI-based
     Joyce Julius Assoc., which "dissects" about 1,800 TV sports
     events annually for its 475 clients, is among a "growing
     number of research firms trying to explain when, where and
     even why" companies spend $4.5B on sports sponsorships
     annually.  Joyce Julius charges clients "about" $25,000 for
     some exposure analysis (USA TODAY, 11/17)....Nike said it
     has "reduced the amount of potentially unhealthy solvents
     used in making its sneakers by almost three-fourths in the
     past three years."  Nike's goal is a 90% reduction by 2001. 
     Nike said that the proportion of workers exposed to
     dangerous levels of vapors is less than 1% (AP, 11/16).
