DESPITE REPORT, ROSKI SAYS NV CASINO NO DEAL BREAKER

          NHL Kings co-Owner Ed Roski's ownership of a NV casino
     "has raised questions about whether the NFL can accept his
     bid to bring" a pro team to the L.A. Coliseum, according to
     Patrick McGreevy of the L.A. DAILY NEWS.  NFL VP/
     Communications Greg Aiello said the issue "will be addressed
     with Mr. Roski in due course."  Roski said his casino 
     ownership will have no bearing on his bid: "It's been
     approved by the NHL and NBA, so I don't see why it would be
     a problem.  The casino doesn't have a sports book."  L.A.
     City Council member Mark Ridley-Thomas, who is backing
     Roski's Coliseum bid, said, "I don't see it as a mark in any
     way against us" (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 11/14).
