OH, O-RENA, IT'S MAGIC: TEAM AND CITY NEGOTIATING NEW RENT

          The Magic and the city-owned Orlando Arena "are close"
     to a five-year lease extension, and an announcement "could
     be made by the end of the month," according to Dan Tracy of
     the ORLANDO SENTINEL.  Orlando Mayor Glenda Hood: "We're
     very close.  I expect everything to go very smoothly." 
     Tracy writes that while the city and team "will not divulge
     specifics" of the deal, it could "easily" be worth "more
     than" $1M to taxpayers, since the Magic would "split
     concession profits" with the city.  Gross concession
     revenues "fell" from $4.13M three years ago to $3.7M last
     season.  Five-year deals are also being "arranged" for the
     IHL Solar Bears and a WNBA team (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 11/13).
