FRANCHISE NOTES

          The Falcons' game against the 49ers this Sunday will be
     the first sellout in more than three years at the Georgia
     Dome, with the final 790 seats in the 71,228-seat stadium
     sold during the Falcons win over the Patriots.  The Falcons
     have sold out just 15 of 52 previous games in the Dome
     (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 11/10)....Browns Owner Al Lerner is
     profiled in BUSINESS WEEK and responds to allegations that
     he helped Ravens Owner Art Modell relocate the franchise to
     Baltimore: "What I did was be there to support Art.  What I
     did was not bail out.  What I did was not run away, not
     abandon him at that difficult time.  What I did was what I
     didn't do" (BUSINESS WEEK, 11/9)....Pacers officials said
     that "they are slightly ahead of last season's pace" for
     full-season ticket packages, putting them "between" 8,000
     and 9,000 orders.  They have also sold "between" 4,000 and
     5,000 half-season, 10 and five game packages (INDIANAPOLIS
     STAR-NEWS, 11/10)....The Premier Soccer Alliance Dallas
     Sidekicks drew 13,665 in winning the PSA Championship
     against the Sacramento Knights on Sunday (SACRAMENTO BEE,
     11/9)....The ABL Reign players went into the crowd 18
     minutes before tipoff at their home-opener to offer "hand
     shakes and high fives" to fans (SEATTLE TIMES, 11/9)....NHL
     Kings co-Owner Philip Anschutz's London Knights played their
     first home game in England on October 29 at the newly
     renovated London Arena, marking the return of pro hockey to
     London.  Anschutz has invested "nearly" $10M into the
     renovations of the arena while installing 6,000 new seats to
     bring capacity to 10,000 (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 11/8).
