THE SUPER SHOW MUST GO ON IN ATLANTA

10.27.1998

          The Super Show had intended to move out of the Georgia
     World Congress Center (GWCC) in Atlanta to the 2.4 million-
     square-foot World Expo Center in Osceola County, FL, but
     developers of the FL site "openly admit" that the facility
     "will not open by early 2001," according to Maria Saporta of
     the ATLANTA CONSTITUTION.  GWCC Exec Dir Dave Graveline:
     "It's obvious that the Osceola center is not progressing
     anywhere close to the original schedule."  SGMA President
     John Riddle said that the Super Show is "back to the drawing
     board," and Atlanta, New Orleans or Orlando "could
     accommodate the convention" (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 10/27).
