ROBB REPORT MAKING A MOUNTAIN OUT OF A GRANT HILL

Pistons F GRANT HILL is interviewed by Jane Levere in
the current issue of ROBB REPORT. Hill, on his image: "I
can be a nice guy, and I can be an asshole, and I'm not
perfect. ... [Y]ou try to be Mr. Nice, and then people
criticize you for being Mr. Nice, and then you try to be Mr.
Mean." Hill, on why he severed ties with Advantage Int'l in
June '97 to represent himself: "Instead of having my
representative go in and meet on my behalf, I'm establishing
that relationship, so hopefully it can grow to something
bigger and better than just being a spokesperson." Hill
said his business strategy is that he'd "like to be involved
in a lot of different things -- what those things are I'm
not quite sure at this moment" (ROBB REPORT, 11/98 issue).
