FINAL NAPBL ATTENDANCE: MINOR LEAGUES SEE 2% GAIN FROM '97

          The following lists the '98 and '97 attendance for each     NAPBL league.  The overall attendance through 10,316 dates     was 35,427,012, an increase of 2% over last season's     34,721,716 over 10,009 dates (THE DAILY).
