IN MINNESOTA, CARL POHLAD SAYS, "NO COKE, PEPSI!"

          The Twins, "because of club owner Carl Pohlad's loyalty
     to Pepsi, have decided to end their three-year Metrodome
     contract with Coca-Cola after just one year," according to
     Charley Walters of the ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS.  The deal was
     worth more than $100,000 annually.  The Twins do not have a
     sponsorship deal in place with Pepsi, but the Metrodome has
     a contract with Coke through 2002 (PIONEER PRESS, 10/16).
