     since its inception in '96, has resigned.  He will assume
     new duties for the NFL (AKRON BEACON JOURNAL, 10/14).
     ...ANDREW THAU was promoted to Senior VP/Operations &
     Network Development for Fox Sports Int'l.  He will focus on
     the daily operations of overseas ventures, including Fox
     Sports Americas/Latin America and Fox Sports World/Middle
     East (Fox/Liberty Networks)....The Lightning promoted
     JACQUES DEMERS to Head Coach/GM, effective immediately.  GM
     PHIL ESPOSITO and Dir of Hockey Personnel & Scouting TONY
     ESPOSITO were relieved of their duties (Lightning)....MLB
     Properties VP & CIO JIM MASTERSON joins Bristol-Meyers/
     Squibb as VP/Global Market Research & Business Intelligence
     (BRANDWEEK, 10/12)....JEFF PRICE was named MasterCard's
     Domestic Sponsorship Chief, succeeding BILL DAILY
     (BRANDWEEK, 10/12)....MARC EDWARDS, Senior VP/GM of Fox
     Sports New England, has left for a position in the Corporate
     Development department at Cablevision.  Edwards will be
     replaced by DAVID WOODMAN, who was most recently Managing
     Dir of Sci-Fi Channel Europe (FSNE).....MLB Rangers
     Assistant Dir of PR CHARLEY GREEN has resigned (Rangers).
