FOX GROUP TO FORM NEW DIVISION: FOX SPORTS ENTERPRISES

Heading into the off-season, Dodgers President Bob
Graziano and the Fox Group are looking "to make changes" to
the team's business operations, according to Ross Newhan of
the L.A. TIMES. Graziano is looking to hire a Senior VP who
"will oversee the business wing." The person, with a
"strong marketing background," will "coordinate all the
departments on the business side." In addition, Fox is
"creating an entity that probably will be called Fox Sports
Enterprises and will oversee all of the company's team and
arena investments, among them possible expansion into
restaurants and apparel." Fox "apparently is looking for a
person with an entertainment background to head the new
division but hasn't conducted interviews yet." Graziano
would report to the new exec, but it would not impact his
"authority" in running the team (L.A. TIMES, 9/26).
