     the '98 USOC Honorary Coach of the Year (DENVER POST, 9/14).
     ...The NEW ENGLAND WOMEN'S FUND, devoted to "increasing
     opportunities for women and girls in sports," will hold its
     first annual Women's Sports Award Reception September 23. 
     Honorees include ABC/ESPN's ROBIN ROBERTS, DONNA DE VARONA
     and the '98 U.S. WOMEN'S HOCKEY TEAM (BOSTON HERALD, 9/13).
     ...In DC, Howard Kurtz profiles MSNBC's KEITH OLBERMANN, who
     "has quickly established himself as perhaps the most
     thoughtful of the cable guys chewing over" the PRESIDENT
     CLINTON/MONICA LEWINSKY affair (WASHINGTON POST, 9/15).
