EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          JILL VOGEL was named Dir of Venue Services and Research
     in the Naming Rights Division at ProServ.  Vogel most
     recently served as Senior Consultant in KPMG Peat Marwick's
     Convention, Sports & Entertainment Consulting Group (The
     Marquee Group)....MARK TREMBLAY was named Sports Editor of
     the Montreal Gazette, replacing DAVE STUBBS, who remains
     with the paper as sports feature writer.  Tremblay was
     Sports Editor at the Calgary Herald since '95 (Montreal
     GAZETTE, 8/31)....Gossip columnist MITCHELL FINK will write
     a daily column for the N.Y. Daily News.  He will make his
     debut on September 8 (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 8/30)....Newsday
     sports columnist ROB PARKER will leave the paper and become
     co-host of Detroit's new sports morning show on WDFN-AM. 
     The show debuts September 21 (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 8/29).
