     ...Olympic snowboarding gold medalist ROSS REBAGLIATI is
     teaming with Sony Music Canada to select his favorite songs
     for a compilation album, due out October 27 (CALGARY SUN,
     8/26)....Hockey HOFer BOBBY HULL "gave an extraordinary
     interview" to the Moscow Times in which he "reportedly
     declared that the Nazi plan to create a master race was not
     without merit."  Hull: "Hitler, for example, had some good
     ideas.  He just went a little bit too far."  When the Times
     asked Hull if he could be described as a "racist," he
     replied, "I don't give a damn.  I'm not running for office"
     (EDMONTON SUN, 8/26)....Giants P OREL HERSHISER will pay
     $5,000 to fan JOE SICA, who caught BARRY BONDS' 400th HR
     ball.  Hershiser: "He didn't want anything for it.  He was
     offered $2,000 and $5,000, but I could tell he didn't want
     the money.  He wanted to give the ball to Barry.  What a
     nice effort" (S.F. EXAMINER, 8/25).
