USPS HOPES IT CAN DELIVER IN ONE-YEAR HEISMAN TROPHY DEAL

          The USPS has become the official delivery service of
     the Heisman Trophy award.  The deal, handled by NY-based PSP
     Sports Marketing, along with FCB, will promote the USPS's
     Priority Mail.  USPS will support via Heisman-themed
     vignettes on college football in-game broadcasts and the
     ESPN Heisman Award show, as well as backing an eight-page
     Heisman ad section in PSP's "Touchdown Illustrated," the
     gameday program for over 230 colleges and universities
     (PSP).  BRANDWEEK's Terry Lefton reports that USPS will use
     past Heisman winners, including Jim Plunkett, for
     appearances to support its one-year deal (BRANDWEEK, 8/24).
