EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The IHL San Diego Gulls announced that Exec VP STEVE
     FERGUSON has resigned to pursue personal opportunities
     (Gulls)....Both SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL and BRANDWEEK report
     that BILL DAILY has left MasterCard as Domestic Sponsorship
     Chief.  BRANDWEEK's Terry Lefton reports that sources said
     Daily "had been under pressure from top marketer NICK UTTON
     for some time for more efficient implementation" of
     MasterCard's MLB sponsorship.  JEFF PRICE "is expected to
     assume Daily's responsibilities and possibly his title"
     (BRANDWEEK, 8/24 issue)....The Sabres named GARY SAJDAK as
     the team's Rochester Area Representative (Sabres).
