EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          NBAP named BARRY FREY Senior VP/Marketing & Media
     Partnerships.  Frey was Managing Dir, Int'l Sales and New-
     Business Development at USA Networks Int'l.  While
     "technically a new post, Mr. Frey assumes responsibilities
     handled by GARY STEVENSON, who remains a consultant" to
     NBPA.  AD AGE: "Not affected by the appointment is MIKE
     STEVENS, who oversees the marketing partnerships department
     at [NBAP] and handles some of the responsibilities to be
     assumed by Mr. Frey" (AD AGE, 8/20)....NHL Enterprises named
     LLOYD HAYMES Dir of Center Ice Programs & Sporting Goods. 
     Lloyd has been with NHLE since '96 (NHLE)....PYPER DAVIS,
     Senior VP/Operations at Fox/Liberty Networks, was named
     President of Fit TV.  Davis said the net will discontinue
     the current 60-minute wheel of 10- to 20-minute programs
     segments and replace it with full programs such as a half-
     hour magazine show.  Fit TV Founder JAKE STEINFELD who owns
     a 10% stake in the net, will become a consultant and will no
     longer have a segment on the net (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 8/21).
