MCHENRY GOES HEAVY METAL; BANKBOSTON RENEWS SENIOR SUPPORT

          McHenry Metals Golf, manufacturer of the TourPure beta-
     titanium driver, will air its first infomercial after the
     PGA Show on The Golf Channel, cable and local networks.  The
     TourPure infomercials will feature NBC Sports' Dick Enberg,
     CBS Sports golf analyst Bobby Clampett and PGA Tour pros
     Fred Funk and John Mahaffey.  The 30- and 60-second TV spots
     will run in October, November and the first quarter of '99,
     and be supported by a print campaign (McHenry).
          UP AND DOWN: Rainbow Foods, which stepped in as title
     sponsor of the MN-based LPGA event five weeks ago, will not
     decide until after the tournament whether to continue its
     support.  Rainbow, the third title sponsor in the
     tournament's nine-year history, paid "in excess" of $100,000
     for its sponsorship (STAR TRIBUNE, 8/21)....BankBoston will
     remain the title sponsor for the next five years of the
     BankBoston Classic, the annual Senior PGA Tour event at
     Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, MA (BOSTON GLOBE, 8/21).
