          adidas-Salomon responded to a $1.2B suit filed this
     week claiming it used prison labor in manufacturing World
     Cup '98 soccer balls and said that an internal investigation
     "had found no evidence" that sub-contractors had used prison
     labor in China to produce the balls.  From a statement, the
     company said, "We are investigating in depth and there is
     still no evidence of wrong-doing on the part of our
     suppliers" (FINANCIAL TIMES, 8/20)....Bowl Games of Hawaii
     has signed IL-based Two Win Sports Marketing to handle
     national sponsorship elements of the Aloha, Oahu, and Hula
     Bowls for the '98-99 season (Two Win Sports)....FL-based
     Entry Media announced that the Red Sox will use their
     Turnstile AdSleeve Armcovers at Fenway Park, sponsored by
     the Boston Globe (Entry Media)....Sara Whalen, Soccer
     America's '97 College Player of the Year, has chosen CA-
     based SportsNet Marketing & Management as her exclusive
     representative (SportsNet)....Ken Griffey Jr. filmed a
     national advertisement for Dunlop Tires Wednesday at Cheney
     Stadium in Tacoma, WA (TACOMA TRIBUNE, 8/19).
