PUTTING A SQUEEZE ON THE CHEESE: ANTI-PACKERS POLICY FORMED

          The Bucs announced a ticket plan yesterday "aimed at
     discouraging Packers fans in Wisconsin from buying tickets"
     to the December 7 Monday night game at Raymond James
     Stadium, according to Rick Stroud of the ST. PETERSBURG
     TIMES.  The Bucs will prohibit purchases by telephone until
     August 25, 10 days after the tickets go on sale.  The new
     policy is in response to a game last season when an
     estimated 30,000 Packers fans "stuffed" Houlihan's Stadium
     for a Bucs-Packers game, in which the Packers clinched the
     NFL Central title (ST. PETERSBURG TIMES, 7/29).
