Fox Sports Net and the Official All Star Cafe have
joined forces around the production of the daily FSN sports
talk show "The Last Word." Beginning Monday, August 3, "The
Last Word," with host Jim Rome will feature a live studio
audience from the Official All Star Cafe location in New
York, where audience members can participate in the show,
which will continue to originate from L.A., by asking
questions of the guests and offer comments. The program
also includes an Internet segment, with each All Star Cafe
location equipped with interactive kiosks where patrons can
communicate with Rome. FSN and the All Star Cafe will also
develop a series of on-going cross promotional campaigns and
programming. "The Last Word" airs Monday-Friday at 6:00pm
and again at 12:00am in each time zone (FSN/All Star Cafe).
REVENUE STREAM: CABLE WORLD's Mike Reynolds reports
that Fox Sports is "making its first run into the world of

it "may move some of its other properties into this arena,"
including Italian soccer and rugby (CABLE WORLD, 7/20).

organized confusion most of the night for Fox Sports News
Primetime, a freewheeling, constantly changing five-hour
romp" (Jim Gintonio, ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 7/23).
