FRANCHISE NOTES

NFL: Frederick Bouchat has filed a $10M lawsuit in U.S.
Federal Court charging that the Ravens "stole the team logo
from him." While the Ravens and NFLP sought to have the
suit "dismissed for lack of evidence," Federal Judge Marvin
Garbis on Friday "found there was enough evident on both
sides to warrant a trial." The trial will begin October 5
(Mult., 7/13)....In MN, Sid Hartman reported that the
Vikings have sold 41,000 season tickets for this season,
1,000 more than last year (STAR TRIBUNE, 7/11). Hartman
also reported that each of the Vikings 10 stockholders will
receive more than $20M for selling their interest in the
club. The 10 owners paid between $2.8M and $7.5M for their
initial stake in the team (STAR TRIBUNE, 7/12).
