EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          RICHARD LYNCH, President & CEO of The Sports Authority,
     has been granted a 90-day leave of absence for "personal
     reasons."  TSA Vice Chair MARTIN HANAKA will assume Lynch's
     duties (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 6/18)....Former NFL player
     SOLOMON WILCOTS has joined ESPN as a Bureau Reporter based
     in Cincinnati (ESPN)....Woolf Associates announced the
     promotion of ANNE MARIE BOUCHER to Account Supervisor
     (Woolf)....The USOC promoted ERIC PARTHEN to Manager of its
     Grants & Planning Division (USOC)....MARK ELLIS was named
     Sales Development Dir for Sports Illustrated in N.Y.  Ellis
     will also continue in his role as Publishing Dir of SI
     Presents.  SI also named VIC SAUERHOFF as General Manager. 
     He was SI's Financial Dir.  ANN DUFFY becomes SI's Financial
     Dir, and PETER GREER has been promoted to Advertising
     Revenue Manager. In addition, JENNIFER BLANCHARD has been
     named International Licensing Manager (SI).
