GOIN' ROUND-N-ROUND: ROTATING SIGNAGE LEAVING ITS MARK

NY-based ANC Sports Enterprises has signed a multi-year
agreement with the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. ANC will
install more than 730 feet of its wall-mounted, backlit
rotating signage on the fascia of the Air Canada Centre's
stadium ring, as well as 80 feet of signage on the center-
hung scoreboard and 70 feet of courtside signage during all
Raptors' home games (ANC Sports). ANC currently provides
signage for six MLB teams, and is helping the Dodgers sell
their signage board inventory, according to a report in
CABLE WORLD. The Braves are using ANC boards to "tout
ticket sales and TBS airings of the team's games." Turner
Sports Sales Senior VP Mark Lazarus said that "down the
road, the signage may be used to flag other Turner or Timer
Warner" properties or events (CABLE WORLD, 4/20 issue).
NOTE: NJ-based Gazelle Group has signed its first pro
clients, the D'Backs and the Durham Bulls, to use its SignCo
rotating signage. The Hartford Civic Center also uses
SignCo, in addition to several colleges (Gazelle Group).
