COULD MOSS EVER GROW ON VIKINGS FANS AND/OR SPONSORS?

Vikings first-round draft pick WR Randy Moss "will be
reaching out for a brighter future" this season in MN after
a troubled past, according to Fred Mitchell of the CHICAGO
TRIBUNE. Moss' marketing agent, Keith Kreiter of IL-based
Edge Sports, said, "Realistically, coming out of the gate, I
don't think trying to secure endorsements is the way to go
with Randy right now. We will certainly have a variety of
companies who will want to do a deal with him. I would like
to see Randy positioning himself properly within the market.
And that is called image enhancement. I would like to see
him win over the fans in Minnesota and kind of endear
himself up there a little bit" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 4/22).
