          MICHAEL OVITZ was profiled by Paul Tharp in the N.Y.
     POST.  An entertainment "competitor" of Ovitz's said, "Ovitz
     will try to build a broad entertainment company.  It'll take
     him a couple of years to stitch some companies together but
     he'll eventually get it done with the help of Wall Street"
     (N.Y. POST, 4/19)....Cablevision CEO JIM DOLAN is profiled
     by NEWSDAY's Elizabeth Sanger who writes, "In the past two
     years he has emerged from his father's long shadow, taken
     charge of a major telecommunications company, become more
     outspoken in the cable industry and gained respect among
     peers" (NEWSDAY, 4/20)....Film Director RENNY HARLIN was in
     Brazil, researching for the start of his New Line film
     "Formula One," about the life of late champion driver AYTON
     SENNA (Army Archerd, DAILY VARIETY, 4/20)....TIGER WOODS
     appeared on the "Tonight Show" last Friday.  Woods, on his
     Masters dinner selection: "I'm sitting right next to BYRON
     NELSON.  And right next to me is also LARRY MIZE and BEN
     CRENSHAW. ... You see all these guys just gnawing into these
     cheeseburgers.  And then you see like the greatest players
     in the world that have ever played this game are having
     these shakes for dessert! ... I just wanted to spice it up"
     ("Tonight Show," NBC, 4/17)....GARDNER DICKINSON, a founder
     of the Senior PGA Tour, died Sunday at the age of 70 (AP/
     DETROIT NEWS, 4/20)....BONHAM GROUP Chair DEAN BONHAM was
     profiled by Dina Bunn of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS.  Bonham, a
     high school dropout, currently has 13 employees and has had
     eight offers to buy his company, "but he isn't selling." 
     Bonham, on event-based marketing: "If you can get consumers
     to interact with products and services in an environment
     where they are emotionally charged, the likelihood is
     dramatically increased that that impression will result in a
     purchase decision" (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 4/19).
