WENDY'S INKS $1M DEAL TO PARTNER WITH NC HIGH SCHOOLS

          Wendy's Restaurants signed a $1M partnership with the
     NC High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) and will became
     a presenting sponsor of the organization's 11 state
     championships, according to Tim Stevens of the Raleigh NEWS
     & OBSERVER.  The sponsorship is "believed to be the biggest
     ever between a corporation and a state high school
     association."  Stevens added that last year, the NCHSAA's
     partnerships were valued at more than $300,000.  Wendy's has
     186 locations throughout NC (Raleigh NEWS & OBSERVER, 4/19).
